They will be preparing to achieve chartered status with Engineers Ireland\/I Struct E<\/p><p>They need to have strong design capabilities in steel\u00a0 and concrete\u00a0 framed structures and sub structure design. They should also be able to design storm and foul drainage systems.<\/p><p>Experience of life science projects would be helpful but not essential. Evaluation of Construction Bids.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/16.0.1\/svg\/25aa.svg\" alt=\"\u25aa\"> Updates Project Team&nbsp; on Bid Package Progress.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><img decoding=\"async\" class=\"emoji\" role=\"img\" draggable=\"false\" src=\"https:\/\/s.w.org\/images\/core\/emoji\/16.0.1\/svg\/25aa.svg\" alt=\"\u25aa\"> Responsibility for the Electrical Design elements of in-house projects.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Assist the Projects team in the resolution of discipline related technical questions, RFIs, Client request, Vendor Submittals, etc. <br>\u2022 Accountable to maintain BOD design intent throughout project execution. <br>\u2022 Accountable to budget and schedule attainment in disciplines under responsibility or support the project manager for the project. <br>\u2022 Reviews and approves commissioning protocols associated with area of expertise. <br>\u2022 Supports Project and CQV team on troubleshooting during start-up\/commissioning activities. <br>\u2022 Partners with maintenance to develop and procure spare parts. <br>\u2022 Provides Technical guidance on the development of plant maintenance programs. <br>\u2022 Liaise with CQV and Lead Scheduler in relation to schedule creation and management for all Electrical Systems, ensuring all correct predecessors and successors are in place. <br>\u2022 Ensure Commissioning readiness of all Electrical, controls &amp; Instrumentation Systems and work with drawing office to get the master docs updated on Eng Doc Control. <br>\u2022 Liaises with other disciplines to ensure alignment and coordination across disciplines. <br>\u2022 Liaise with all Project Groups (Design\/CM\/CQV\/Automation\/Process\/SMEs\/Ops\/Maintenance\/PMs) to ensure all E &amp; I Systems are managed appropriately for the entire Project Lifecycle. <br>\u2022 Provides feedback on the procurement of discipline related packages, ensuring that items purchased are to the correct specification as outlined by the BMS site Electrical SME and orders are placed in line with schedule requirements <br>\u2022 Works closely with the project team and system owners to develop a baseline schedule, which supports project completion date. <br>\u2022 The role will also focus on the elements of the schedule relating to facility readiness including procurement, commissioning, Training and Qualification along with the review\/approval of documentation in support of these activities. <br>\u2022 Ensure system is thoroughly checked on receipt at the construction site or site warehouse for damage and shipment completeness. Make sure it is stored in a way that provides for easy retrieval and protection. <br>\u2022 Ensure proper installation details and studies are developed and that the system is protected at the soonest opportunity following installation. <br>\u2022 Participate with Project team and site contractors on the inspection and approval of First of a kind (FOK). <br>\u2022 Coordinate with Project team and system owners during walk downs and agree the categorisation of punch items, sign off mechanical completion certification.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><b>Experience and Qualifications:<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Qualified Electrician (FETAC accredited) with industrial experience. <br>\u2022 Degree in Electrical Engineering or Equivalent qualification with Trade Background.<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum of 5 years&#8217; experience in the pharmaceutical or Life Sciences industry including experience with design, construction commissioning and operation for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Extensive knowledge of Industrial facility power distribution, generators, UPS systems, lighting &amp;&nbsp; emergency lighting, small power, voice \/ data, cable containment, fire alarm, Earthing &amp; bonding, lightning protection, security, hazardous areas and fire alarm.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Extensive understanding of all applicable Electrical Engineering codes, and acceptable industry standards.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience with Instrumentation, controls &amp; Functional Safety.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience in troubleshooting and providing E &amp; I Technical support for E &amp; I Systems in a GMP&nbsp; Environment.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Demonstrated proficiency communicating and collaborating at a variety of levels with customers, vendors, equipment suppliers and operations staff.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Proven success working well in a team environment with flexibility to react to changing business needs.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Strong leadership and communication skills.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Problem solver with a focus on achievement of overall project goals.&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Computer skills (Spreadsheets, Word Processing, Visio, Microsoft Project, Building Management Systems, SAP, AutoCAD, SharePoint, etc.).&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience with liaising with other departments and PMs\/leads, ensuring streamlined E &amp; I scheduling and planning for supporting the BMS Cruiserath Biologics Projects Portfolio.<\/p>\n<p><\/p>\n<p><b>Knowledge and Skill<\/b><\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Minimum of 5 years experience with E &amp; I design and construction projects for pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities.&nbsp; &nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Experience with complex projects and working in or around operating facilities.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>\u2022 Ability to keep work pace and meet deadlines.
